Costel's Village hears the Gospel

Film being shot in Bucharest

http://agentcwilliamsjournal.blogspot.com/2009/05/belated-blog.html

I was able to talk to the writer of the movie. He is a Jew and trying to tell the story of a place in Budapest (yes Budapest not Bucharest where the film is being shot) where some Jews dressed up as Nazi soldiers and then started taking people from the lines headed to the prison camp. They saved 2000 or 3000 people this way. I told him that I was certainly a FRIEND of the Jews and that I think it is amazing that so people hate the Jews when salvation came from the Jews and that we are blessed thought the promise God made to Abraham 4000 years ago in Christ Jesus.

I wept when I saw this part being played out... the nation of Israel has a very, very special place in my heart and my doctrines lead me to Israel every time. I saw salvation right in front of my very eyes that day. Those that followed the Nazi's were put in the fire and exterminated and those that were directed down the street to the right were saved. Not by there good works but by the Jewish men who risked their lives to save their fellow countrymen. This is my job... I do this nearly every day....trying to point people to the path of Christ. It was emotional for me to see it acted out.

Glory to God in Heaven

It was a wonderful day for us seeing the three sisters baptised at the same time and Ciprian who all are working in our campaign. Ciprian gave a powerful testimony which had many people drying their eyes. I am so proud of this group of young fired up Christians.... may God make them strong and courageous for His Glory. I was so impressed with Holy Trinity...if the European churches do anything right it is the emphasis they put on the baptism ceremony. I am so blessed to see the way they celebrate those that have come to Christ for salvation.

Starting Work in Zone 4

We are starting to work in Zone 4 now. We already had been doing some work there but will start to move more and more to doing the Level 3's in the houses. We have found several homes that seem to be interested already. We are in 2005 when compared to where we were in Zone 6 four years ago! We know more about what we are doing though and how to do it and we have more leaders. Praise the Lord.... Pray for the work in Zone 4 Galati.

Happy Birthday Gayle

We had a great time celebrating Gayle Hills's 59th birthday.  We don't get together very much even though we live next to them most the time we are so busy that we just call once in a while.  We always have a good time when we get together.  Well, I pray that God will bless her.  It happened to be Childrens Day in Romania so we were also treated to some fireworks!

Reaching Africa

Randy, Mihia, Larisa and Iulia have been meeting with these men from Congo up at the refugee camp in Zone 9.   They baked cookies yesterday and did and extended SJWF with them today.  They seem to all be believers but they want to try and go teach the other 40 refugees that are there in the compound.  They speak several different languages and are trying to learn Romanian while they are here.   They  have come to the Baptist Church and did some singing and dancing.  Yes, I am sure that the dancing was over the top for our Baptist brothers here in Europe.   Well pray as we continue to look for more help try and make Disciples for Christ.

Zone 9 Leader gives a report

Kinder Joy Eggs

Yesterday we were at this Greek Resteraunt.   I wanted to give this present to Matthew Blanton who did a wonderful job as a team leader.  I understand that when he was young sometimes he would receive this specific gift.  Well, it took me about two hours yesterday to go find these chocolate eggs...and then I didn't want them to melt so I  had the waitress put them in the fridge downstairs.   I completely forgot about them during our dinner and now I have to figure out what to do with them :)

God Bless You NGU Thanks for all you did for us

This has been a very special group for me. I pray that they will be blessed for their great attitudes, their great hearts and their submissive spirits. I know that God had to be pleased with all that they did the last three weeks. I now have a city that I can start working in with many many contacts that this team opened up. Every Zone and over 1000 people directly confronted with the Gospel. Lord keep them safe as they travel home...

Kingdom of Darkness was hit hard by NGU 801 PPts

Over the course of this month, these young people have been going and telling the people of Braila the Gospel. They have acquired 159 hours of prayer walking collectively, they have 262 Open Book encounters (which means around 1000 people heard), they have had the first ever 8 level three lessons and finally they have had the KDT for a collective 14 hours. They had a total of 133 pressure points today alone! We hit zones 12, 13 and 14. This group was really blessed today to be able to talk with so many people about Jesus. We were hoping to go from 666 to 777 but the Lord blessed and we went to 801 pressure points for a Mission Point Total.

This was our last day to hit Braila with this team... I hate to see them go but they know that they put their feet in the middle of the Kingdom of Darkness and Shared Jesus Without Fear for three weeks.

Well, I pray that you all have been blessed by this team and their efforts as much as I was.

NGU has one more day of work...

Well I am going to hate to see this team leave. They are really a great bunch and have won not only my respect but my heart also. I pray that the Lord will bless them for all the help that they have brought us. So we started the day with 600 pressure points. We then added the 28 points from Sunday and the 38 from this evening for a total of 66. So after studying Revelation today as part of the Kingdom Doctrinal Track along with the specific things that we need to be avoiding I am very happy that we are using the devil's number against him!

God continues to work in the valley

This was a great day for the valley. Converts from the valley got together and had a church service. It was awesome to hear NO ENGLISH spoken! A brother from the local church spoke on grace and did a wonderful job of teaching them on this all important subject. I was so proud of the local church (Holy Trinity and Pastor Ovi for helping) Bogdon in the valley. I was also so proud of Bogdon and Paula for praying all week that some one might come this Sunday. They are really truly becoming leaders in the Kingdom of God. Their lives are burning so bright and they really know that people need to be saved and that by Grace. I can not put into words the feelings I have after starting to prayer walk the valley back in late 2004. This to my knowledge was the first time that the American didn't take the lead and allowed the national to speak in all of the services we have had. In the past things were just not set up for this...now they are praise the Lord.

First Day Violeta Joins Us for SJWF

The Chief

Randy has done an impeccable job with this CCSBA/Galati team. I was very impressed by his ability to get the job done. After bringing in 12 teams over the last five years it was great to have help this year! Justin and I were saying that he reminds us of the position that the ranking enlisted person in a squadron is called, "Chief" the Chief Master Sergeants are the ones that get things done in the military. Well, God bless you Randy...but you look so tired! With Angela working the team in Braila, you and Justin working the team in Galati...I just don't see why your so tired. I am feeling rather refreshed this year for having three teams in at the same time!

New Director of Missions

To understand my comment about the need to get the churches motivated to equip the saints again please read Ephesians 4:11-13 and then just hold it up to what you see happening as many of our churches are doing the opposite of what this verse actually teaches! Until the churches make reaching directly into the harvest and making evangelism a priority again we will continue to be wiped out one by one.

It was a great pleasure to meet Matthew this last week. I pray that the Lord will show CCSBA a way to expand the Kingdom of God through his leadership. I am praying that those who understand missions and the need to get the church "members" engaged in missions will remain united on that front. I am a big believer in "The Church is the Missionary" concept of church. Over the years the world has seen the gospel as very hostile to its ways. The Devil has done to the church the same thing people do to contagious diseases, he as quarantined the Gospel into the little buildings to keep it from spreading. The Pastors must lead the charge...we are at war. I pray that Matthew can rally the troops and not fall into the same old trap of DOING missions for the churches. I remember quite well when our president of the IMB, Jerry Rankin, told us that it was not the IMB's job to do missions! I thought to myself, "is he crazy? Of course it is the IMB's job to do missions" then he explained...it is the local SBC's church's job to do missions and the IMB's job to make sure that it happens abroad. Now that I am trying to start churches overseas in two cities with populations of just under 1,000,000 people ,(with only three active Baptist churches) I see that Dr. Jerry Rankin was exactly right and that I had been taught incorrectly and was in direct conflict with the concepts that really clarify the local churches responsibilites.

I pray that Matthew will be able to bring a new awareness to this need and not just become as some of said, "A pastor to the pastors". I hope and pray that God will stir his heart and that he will be responsible for getting many of our SBC church "members" to accept the call to missions abroad. Our churches are dying because we have our eyes on the economy more then the Lord above and the next life. May God forgive us for loosing site of our priorities! May the churches begin to make the "Kingdom of God" their primary concern again.

45 Open Book Encounters in only 3 Hours

It was an incredible day down in Braila. We did a level 5 in the morning studying the first of fourteen Kingdom Doctrinal Track slides. After lunch we broke into five groups of four each and prayer walked the south side of the city from 3-6. What was amazing was that in only three hours we had 45 open book encounters that is a record for sure. We literally went down one street and talked with nearly every person that was outside for nearly two hours. Our team had 18 open book encounters and another team had 15! God smiled on us today...

90 Open Book Encounters In One Week

We had a great day today. To tired to talk about it...this team is great. Oh! This a video shoot of the very first Level 3 done in Braila. They were able to get several more level three's set up.

The Upper Room Level 7 with NGU

This weekend I wanted NGU to see the work in Galati. They came up to the service in the Valley where Bogdon is trying to get a level 7 Started at a new location. It was a nice sunny and hot service. After that we went to a restaurant and waited 2 1/2 hours to eat. Then they walked five miles to the training center. They basically walked from the valley to the training center along the river and then back into the city. This was great training for them if they become missionaries in a remote location.

We had a service in the evening letting them see a level 7. This is totally different then a traditional church service and I wanted them to see the difference. It was great to hear them learn from the five mistakes that Lot made before he was nearly destroyed by the fire from heaven. I listened to them as they shared about their temptations and struggels. I pray that the Lord used that time to really speak to their hearts. Praise the Lord for the desire he has put in their hearts to build His Kingdom and for His Glory.

This team still has ten days to go. We are sitting on 166 pressure points. They still have a long way to go to reach 1 Cameron! We are hoping to achieve this by Friday but we want to be faithful to follow up on the contacts we already have and start some level 3's.

NGU Shines Today

After only two days of training and two more days of operations we now have 50 hours of prayer walking and 58 open Bible encounters using SJWF. These guys will be able to progress to several level threes next week. The possibility exists for us to start a level four group even before NGU leaves if we work the next couple of weeks right. That would be awesome. As of now the NGU team has 166 pressure points with 140 of those coming in the last two days!

Day of Operation E Contact

We had two days of "warm up" and now we are in the thick of it. After three days this team has recorded:

38 hours of prayer walking, they have had 37 open book encounters and are off to a great start. Pray that we can begin to pace ourselves a bit. I personally have lost 12 pounds in the last three weeks so I am very happy about this pace. We have three or four homes to go do lessons in today....we hope.

Matthew Tanner the new DOM of CCSBA will be with us today in Braila.

30 Open Book Encounters Today

NGU Opens up work in Braila

This is a great group of students.  Today they learned the Galati Plan and went out and prayer walked for a couple of hours and also did Share Jesus Without Fear.  They had an incredible night...they had 10 open book encounters in only two hours.  Each group had five and they came back pretty fired up.  This is going to be an awesome three weeks and many people are going to hear the Gospel.  PTL

Justin and Angela did a great job today... Angela is staying with the team and helping to many many  things that I  would normally do,  Thanks Angela...

Justin did the training in Level 1 and Level 2 today and the entire motivational part also.  We are truly blessed to have these young people here with us this week.

We also have CCSBA with us and we are looking forward to seeing what will happen with them this week.  Many things to be praying for...

We also have Two Liberty Student with us today...Our Son Matthew and his friend Matthew Bowman.

Justin Costel and Andrew G4 Level 3

Here are some people to pray for.  Justin, Costel and Andrew are doing a great job with these people.  We need to pray for the man pictured on the left who will be going into jail again soon, for three years.  His wife seems to be coming closer and closer to saving faith. Pray for her.  The lady on the right has relation in the valley and has been very open to the lessons.

Angela Baptism by Fire First Team Meeting

We think that we have a plan that will keep us busy.  I hope you will stay praying (tuned in) for our next three weeks of work.  Cane Creek Stoddard Baptist will assist us in Zones 4, 6, and 9.  We will have many prayer requests over the next few weeks.  Please lift our team in prayer so that the Lord will show us His favor the next couple of weeks.  Pray for Angela as she will truly be "baptised by fire" down there in Braila.  I know that she is up to it and we are very excited to have her on the team.  She will be working with 8 young ladies "just like herself" that want to be missionaries and are in school for that very reason.  There are also two young men on the team that will help carry the luggage for the ladies!!! I am hoping that my son Matthew and his friend representing Liberty will also be a big help to us.

A look at the Focus of the Attack

So we will continue to use the 555 points as a standard. It will not be difficult to exceed this unit for a two week team because we have more help. But I realize now that this is a unit of measurement that really gives me an idea of how we are doing. This 1 Cameron Unit is now a very effective tool to show how much progress we are making towards a group that KNOWS how to multiply. This is the key to discipleship!!! We are simply keeping track of number of hours we prayer outside, number of people we talk to about Jesus from the Bible (no hidden "I just try to be their friend stuff"), Number of EV lessons taught in houses, and number time a person meets in a home church environment, and also the tracking of leaders.

The Task ahead of us it to get the SBC teams quickly trained in the basics, especially SJWF (Level 2) Share Jesus Without Fear. Then turn them loose. If we can't find translaters then we either hand out literature or find an english speaker. This year I hope to try something new though. I hope to hand out a card where they can contact us on our web site trough an e-mail account. I hope this works....we will send them the lessons over the mail and then visit them to confirm they understood the lessons and more important see if they want to start a lesson in their homes.

Preparing the Team for the Teams

This morning I find myself with that same excitment and energy level that comes when you are two days before bringing a team in.  This time three teams!  We have my son and his friend representing Liberty (and yes they are here to see the family but it is an official mission trip, We will have CCSBA (Cane Creek Stoddard Baptist Association) also coming in on Tues.  The day before they get here a team from North Greenville will arrive with 12 people.  So we have many things to work out today in the meeting.  The GREAT thing about the Galati Plan is that everybody is on the same page doing the same thing. So we don't have to find orphanges or churches  or things for the team to do while they are here.  They will simply enter into what we are doing.  So for the first time after around 12-15 teams that have come in the last five years I have a team of people to help me this time.  The difficult part and the part that I need prayer for is I have a team in Braila and a team in Galati.  This will open up work in Braila as the teams from Living Word Baptist and Cameron First did back in 2004 when we found a real treasure in Bogdon and Paula.  So please pray for our team meeting to day...

Report after teaching first lesson level 3

This was a big day for Gabriela. She was with us last November when we prayer walked Zone 4 and now she is back teaching her first level three lesson from the National Bible Reading Campaign. She was amazed at the fact these two didn't know anything at all about the Christian faith. Here she is saying exactly how the lesson went ....In Romanian! More and more of these blog posts will be in Romanian because the plan demands that they take the front seat and begin pushing outward in Romanian without us to slow it down.

Lesson 3 in ZONE 4 Good Job Gabriela

We were able to do two level Three lessons in Zone 4 today. One of them didn't go so well because of a drunk man but the other went very well. For those of you that prayed for Gheorge the other day, Thanks...we were able to get into a house and teach a lesson to two ladies, one was 24 and the other 25. It went very well and these were the first two lessons that Gabriela has taught with the Level 3 material. She did great....I am very proud of her. She faced a demon or two in the first lesson that she was teaching. But she taught the lesson and stayed on the subject.

Zone 13 Level 3 First Visit

Now that I have made the first contact it will be important to select the correct person for the job. I have several options at this time:

Best option is probably to get somebody that is an older female to start the lessons while at the same time taking the younger men working our plan and have them start working with the boy. We will see what will work best. I like the location and probably would be able to get a group here in the future if the Lord would allow us that privilege.

I am sure we will be taking them to the clinic in Braila also at some time in the near future.

Following Up On Contacts is Important

We like maps!!!! This is how we track most of our contacts! I want to do a follow up visit on thelady we met yesterday at Metro.

More People to Pray for

Hopefully we can get over to Anacuta's house to do lessons... She is the second person we met this week that is having to go through parking lots to ask for money. We will go to her house and try to start lessons with her. She lives in Zone 13. We always help these mothers out if some how we can confirm the need. Not with much but with enough to get her through the day and next day..

Times are Tough in America

It seems that a someone in South East Missouri has found a second job trying to make ends meet. We have found that one of our Baptist sisters has been modeling on the side to try and pay the bills. I guess when times get tough the tough get going!!!!

Katie Geddes is the on-site reporter- Cameraman remains anonymous

Love ya Tamara sorry for bringing this to every bodies attention!

Please pray for Gheorghe

This is another person needing prayer. He really believes that God brought us to him and he really seems to want his life to change. We are welcome in his home. Please pray for us to get in there and present the Gospel in a way that he will truly have hope for the next life.

Level 1 and 2 in Zone 4

I told this lady named Carmen that many, many people would be praying for her....I hope that you will take time to lift her in prayer. She has problems breathing, pains in her heart and also some issues with her blood. Most of all she is connected to three new families that we have found in Zone 4 tonight. We found a guy who said he believed God sent us. He really wants to get right with God. I hope to start three level threes over there soon. We met this family prayer walking in Zone 4 last December.

Praying for our Work here in Galati

Justin told me that his family met last night and prayed with a cell church in Atlanta. They watched the blog that mentions everybody by name posted yesterday. I had asked for prayer and they actually met for three hours.... and lifted us up in prayer. THAT is exactly why I started blogging again. We NEED your prayer cover. I know for a fact that when we lost our prayer cover things became MUCH more difficult. I really am pleading for people to start praying for us again and I will try my best to keep you informed. Thanks for taking my request for prayer cover seriously church and Pastor thanks for taking time to let your people pray also. May the Lord bless you abundantly for this....

Justin finally gets his Christmas Present

Justin just returned from a few days traveling around Europe. He was able to keep sharing his faith and also discovered some interesting things regarding the spiritual temperature here in Europe. Things about the promise, one world order and the extreme dislike for the nation of Israel. Just like the Bible predicted centuries past!

Good Report from Zones 7 and 6

We are discussing a way to include Matthew 25 activities into our Cell Church reporting. This can not be taught but must not be avoided either. We took about one hour and a half to discuss things as they are and then shot a quick interview for prayer requests and praises!

One if by Bus and Two if by Airplane

Please pray for:

David Groves (IGO), Matthew Tanner, Gary Burns, Laura Wade, (CCSBA) By Plane

Matthew Geddes, Andrew Bowman, (Liberty University) By Plane

Justin McGhin and Angela Stamps. (SBC and IMB)

These 22 people will be spending part of the summer advancing the Kingdom of God here in Southeast Romania. I am so thankful but also a little intimidated for several reasons. Just please lift us in prayer and I will keep you posted on how your prayers are helping. They arrive in three waves. Two teams will land on the 12th by airplane and the other will have already been here arriving by bus to Braila on the 10th.

IGO CCSBA will work zone 9 in Galati with Justin

North Greenville University will work Braila with Angela Stamps

Randy and I will try to keep things moving!!

Level 3 Zone 9 New Family 2nd Lesson

This is the Ionita Vasile family with his wife (Iuliana Carmen) on the far right and daughter (Daniela Georgiana) in the middle. They have been so kind to me and have allowed me to try and teach the Level Three material People who knew Jesus, without the use of a translator. They don't speak English so this is a real challenge. I am able to get through the lessons but I am severely handicapped compared to teaching them in English as I have in the past. But I know that I need to be stretched in this area and I must work hard to learn this language. I really like this family and they sort of remind me of a Bogdon and Paula I met some years back! I pray that they will come to Christ soon. They took out all their Icons and showed me them. This is where I don't even say a word. I just complement them and move on...the lesson went great!

Vasile was at the airport in 98 and stood only 15 feet away from Bill Clinton when he came to Romania. This was a big event in his life. He has held the same job for over ten years and seems to be a very stable person. His wife is a real sweet heart and I just pray and please you also lift here in prayer for salvation. Thanks!

Bogdons Reporting on Zone 6 Valley

Bogdon truely has been doing an awesome job in the valley. I think that he is doing everything he knows to do. He has his NEW believers...ones that HE has won to Christ, following him and doing the first three steps. They are WANTING to serve God and they are truely growing. Bogdon has much to be in prayer about now as his house, apartment, has been sold and he now has been given a notice. THEY have to move. So please pray about this... He really needs to find a new place to live soon. The situation is very complicated and I don't really know what to do about this except pray. Well, you all need to be praying for Bogdon and the work in the valley. He is doing an incredible job and also I want to thank Bridge Builders for supporting him and bringing him up under their ministry. They keep in constant prayer for him and also have weekly meetings with him... the group is out of Prestonwood in Plano Texas.

Every Saturday at 1330

Here is Teresa's table ready and set for her level four group.  She has taken her group through a book called "I've been Born Again now what",  "John, behold the Lamb" and now she is going through Galatians with her girls.  They have a solid level four and I am so proud of the work that Teresa has done.  What ever is asked of her she does it.  If you would like to bless us with your prayers please pray for Teresa's children.  Jason, Karissa and Emma who are being tossed to and fro by the enemy.  Families are precious to God and we need to be praying for God to show people the blessing that come with staying together, praying together, following Christ together.  Please pray for this family that Jason will now become the man God had intended for him to be and that Karissa will continue to listen to godly council  and that Emma be in and under a godly influence soon!

The Youngest Prayer Warriors

These are picture perfect prayer warriors.  I think it is awesome that these boy's parents are training these two young men to think about the nations that don't know God.   This is an awesome way to bring your children up in the admonition of the Lord.  I pray that the Lord will bless these two young boys for the amount of time they lift us in prayer.  They sent Karla a birthday notice but we know that they think and pray for us more then once a year....everyday or at least every week they lift us before the Lord....amen!

Happy 44th Karla...you are awesome....

Today was my beautiful wife's 44th Birthday. She is absolutely the greatest wife, greatest mother, greatest ................, in the world. See the glow on her.....she is almost perfect!!! Well, I know that opposites attract and so does everybody else so I will stop now. We are truly blessed to still be in LOVE after 22 years of marriage.

We went out to Chinese and then came home to have ice cream. The kids were out playing and mama was in the living room checking to see how many people knew she was getting older.........

Leaders Meeting Navigating as a Team

NOTICE: IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SEE HOW ALL THIS WORKS YOU MUST VIEW PREVIOUS BLOGS: THEY ARE BEING POSTED FASTER THEN YOU CAN KEEP UP> SO PLEASE GO BACK AND REVIEW PREVIOUS POSTS ....FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE GALATI PLAN

Go back to the blog titled: Upper Room for Level Seven Groups and begin from there working your way back to here...

I wanted you to hear from our leaders and how you can pray for the needs of their groups.

Teresa: pray for a lady named Andriana who will be meeting with her this week.

Bogdon: pray for his guys that they will want to start new groups

Randy: pray for their children back home and the new grandbaby. We are praying that God will work a HUGE change of heart in the hearts of little Ema's parents....God can do this...and we believe HE WILL....

Costel: For Justin's groups , pray that they find people directly from the harvest to begin groups with and not just people out of the church that need something to do

Daniela: Pray that her group will begin inviting friends to her group

Angela: Not here but for her smooth transition to Galati in the upcoming week.

Randy and Dawn Nichols: They will be coming on to our team this year late December to move in and help us start work in Braila. Pray for their transition to the field and for the difficulties in leaving children in the states even though their children are grown they are very close to them.

Leaders Meeting on Tuesdays

Leaders Meeting. Troy (Galati), Bogdon (Zone 6), Teresa (Zone 7), Costel (Zone 9) in for Justin) Daniela (Zone 9), Randy (Zone 15) we were missing Paula (Zone 6), Mihia (Zone 15) and some others that will be working the plan but aren't yet ready.

I amso proud of this team. It seems that we always come away stronger and with more focus after each meeting. This one meeting we see that the need to continue the Galati Plan is a resounding yes but at the same time we need to relax a little and figure out exactly how to get the groups serving in some way using the Galati Plan as a back bone to our strategy not a pipe line! So after diagraming, discussing and deliberating we see more clear how to move forward in the same direction but not lock step. This was really one of our most productive meetings because we had three nationals with us who have the same heart, mind and soul who gave us some great feed back. We are also planning and praying for more leaders, teams that are coming and the work that is opening up in Bucharest.

Preparing for Leaders Meeting

This is once again showing those that are interested in our plan how it works, Day by Day. I don't think that we actually have an OPERATIONAL urban church planting model in our part of the world so this is becoming more and more important to me for helping other learn how to start a "Cell Church". They are a difficult animal to describe in the early stages because we all think so traditional. But some of the differences are easy to see. We don't have expensive buildings, we don' try to complicate the process of leading someone to Christ, we focus all most every bit of our training on reaching and disciplining lost people until they have a full understanding of Christian work. We have a plan that is the back bone to all we do which is tracked on a weekly basis by all people in the church. We think sitting in the benches at church is only for those who are not aware of the dangers facing the church at this time in history, and we put a high price tag on the issue of "knowing what being Born Again" means and exactly how someone is Born Again. (NOT BY GOOD WORKS, OR BY THEIR ABILITY TO OBEY THE TEN COMMANDMENTS) It is by trusting in the character of God and that He can not lie...He has promised all who repent from their sins and turn to Him salvation in His Son and Only in His Son Jesus Christ. So putting your faith in Jesus is the exact same thing as trusting God to keep His promise.

In doing this we have come up with a way to measure the effectiveness of our teams in developing Groups that KNOW how to multiply. We train, teach, disciple and reach out to all that would be interested in joining us. As of now we are small and not to dangerous...but that is changing!!! Praise the Lord....

Galati and Braila NBRC work in progress

This is a great day for us in Galati, the entire Committe from our church is in our training center asking God for a clearer vision to pass on to the people. I know that they are ALL very interested in the "Cell Church" model. I pray that the LORD above will speak very clearly to them today and convince them that the traditional model of church planting needs to be changed. We pray that they will be drawn close to God today and that they will also be drawn closer to each other! Pray a VISION will imerge from their taking the time to pray and discuss the future of the church.

For this we are moving our leaders meeting to the Myres house today. Pray for us....also!

Level 5 Zones 7 and 15 leaders

Level 5 Zones 7 and 15

It is always a joy to meet with my leaders on Monday's. We are praying for all the work that Randy and Teresa do and discussing the next steps needed to take strategic steps forward with those that the Lord has brought into our lives that week. As of now we are looking at expanding the number of groups that Teresa is managing by getting one more of her leaders a group. So we do this and also we go over the Kingdom Doctrinal Track. We also talk about all those we KNOW are praying for us back in our home churches. We are now working at rebuilding our prayer net work by activating the blog again. Things go so much better when YOU ALL pray for us....so please as we update these blogs please pray for us....Randy and Teresa thanks for all your hard work....you are a real treasure to have on our team. I pray that God will answer all your prayers especially the ones we sent back to America today!

Level 5 Zone 6 Leader Paula KDT

Level 5 Zone 6

Every Monday I try and meet with Paula to take her through the KDT. It is not ideal conditions but when a person wants to learn as much as Paula does it makes no difference. She is leading a level four down in the valley. They have taken a family through all twenty of the NBRC and now she is taking them through the I've Been Born Again Now What ? This is leading this entire family closer and closer to Christ. Teresa is also going with Paula and we rejoice that a girl named Donna has recently come to Christ through the People Who Knew Jesus study. It is getting more and more exciting to see what God is doing through Paula's life!

Started in 2004 and still going...

We are pressing on: Even the Local Baptist Church is behind this one this time. Pastor Ovi called Bogdon and asked, "How can we help you?" that is awesome!!!

This group is made up of group leaders: Troy, Bogdon, Randy, Repenters from the valley Necu and his wife Donna who recently came to Christ, Mariara who came to Christ last fall, her husband Ion who also came to Christ last fall, Lenuta who was on the cover of the DAR three years ago, Gina who is always faithful to open her house to us, the four sisters and five others training to be leaders, Costel, Andrew, Madalina (Larisa) Iulia and some of the neighbors. So this is not actually a true LEVEL 7 but we will take it. We are hoping to have only believers at our level sevens and learn how to bring people to Christ in our level fours and threes. So that when the come to the Level 7's they know the Lord.

Level 7 Zone 6

Here we are again, at Gina's house trying to get a level 7 going. We have Bogdon who is dong all he KNOWS how to do. Of course Randy has stayed very faithful to the work in the valley adding sign language classes, Romanian language for the ones who don't know how to read. This also with Mihia, Larisa and now Iulia. Paula has a group that is now wanting to actually repent. Today we went over Hebrews 13 today "Jesus died outside the camp". I pray that the Lord will strengthen this group into something that will multiply over time. I am so proud of the work that everybody has done. We believe that we have nearly 20 repenters in the Valley now. Of this group less then half are from the valley. But for the first time everybody there is there for the right reasons. Nicu part of the Accordion family, Lenuta the lady from the DAR article, Nicu's wife Donna, Beca and a couple others are all repenters.

National Bible Reading Campaign in Zone 9

This is the first meeting with a level 5 in Zone 9. Daniela and her sisters recently had to move out of their apartment...nothing new...the fourth time in six months. This time we pray that the Lord will keep theme here. Each of the other times they we were On the Run and didn't have many options. This time also but the Lord delivered a great apartment for them. Soon Angela Stamps an IMB missionary will be their roomate also. So Daniela wanted to bring her group and Teresa's group over for a study in the Kingdom Doctrinal Track. We did an overview...handed out the newest KDT booklets and did a study on Abraham. This was awesome because we are have a solid combination of believers, new believers and lost people in this group. I am very excited to see what the Lord will do with this group of girls. They are ready to get out and so some work this summer. So as of now we have two level four groups in the zone 6, one level four in Zone 7, one level four in Zone 9, we have level one and two work going on in Zone 15 and a level seven in the training centner now and then along with a level 7 beginning in the valley today.

Level 1 prayer walking
Level 2 Share Jesus without fear
Level 3 National Bible Reading Campaign
Level 4 In Home Church (striving for this) Welcome, Worship, Word and Work
Level 5 Kingdom Doctrinal Track-2nd Reformation
Level 6 Repeating the training cycle
Level 7 "Cell Group" (combination of level 4 groups with no set material nor method)

The girl who says Amen at the end of the video has just recently come to Christ...

Upper Room for our Level Seven Groups

Transformation of our Fellowship Room

Justin and his crew really went all out trying to transform our room into the Upper Room. I looks fantastic. We are not finished with it yet but we are very close to having it the way we want it. We are using the I AM theme also. I am the Door, Light, Sheppard, Resurrection, Way the Truth and the Life, Bread and the Vine. We love it... our first Celebration their room was awesome...! We are now working with around 50+people in the National Reading Campaign the Lord is so gracious to help us accomplish our first objective...start a cell group. From here we need to focus on the most important task...make disciples!

Celebration 2009

This picture represents the work of a great deal of people over the last four years. We are now celebrating with our own converts and those who are committed to win this city to Christ. We meet on Sundays and pray for the Lord to enrichen us with His presence. This group represents almost all our work in one way or another from the last four years. We are very excited to see what the Lord will do through our united spirit and focus in the years to come. The date on the bottom of the picture is not correct....Jan 2009 is the correct date. We are very excited to see what the Lord is going to do with us and through us this year!

Randy and Teresa Fight the Good Fight

We had a great time with our Wii Party. Randy and Teresa were on opposite teams and ended up having to box each other. Paul said fight the good fight. I am not sure that this has any thing to do with that verse but Randy put up a good fight. We had a great time bringing in the New Year together. Below is a bout between one of our newest converts Lydia and our Atlanta welterweight champ Jumpin "Flutters-like-a-bee stings like a bird" Justin Mcghin . Now this was FUNNY to watch. We belly laughed through the entire round. Finally, Justin gets the final blow in and Randy his trainer had never been more proud seeing this up and coming fighter finish off a GIRL!!!!

On the devotional side of life Paul said in 1 Cor 9:26 "I am not like a boxer who misses his punches." We need to be about hitting the opponent this year. It is imparitive to keep the focus on evangelism and making disciples for Christ. We might have a chance this summer to hit this city with several teams and nearly 12 to 20 full time workers. We can put quite a hurt on our opponent if we can just get some traction going before early summer. Pray for this...

Here Comes 2009 like a Freight Train

The New Year is here... Our prayer is that the Lord will help us Make Disciples this year. We have a heart to see the City Won to Christ. The truth is that TIME passes like a freight train. We need to really be about the work this year. 2009 needs to be a turning point for our ministry here in Galati. God has been so very, very kind and paitent with me this year. I pray that I can be as patient and kind to others this year. As Andrew and I were standing at this RR intersection I really felt the Lord impressing on my that 2009 was going to get away from me if I don't just hit it head on. We have all heard the saying that we can "see the light at the end of the tunnel" I can see that time is not on our side. We have so many people to reach in this city. What the Lord has shown us in the last three years needs to become the focus of 2009. We will keep the good and get rid of the bad. This year is going to be about Making Disciples for Christ. With the world scene unfolding exactly as the Bible predicted, none of us can really say that we have any certianty about anything other then Christ Jesus and our Hope in God the Father who is always full of unfailing love for His children. May this truely be a year that we are making His Kingdom our primary concern. AMEN. The events described in the Bible are much like the train coming down the tracks... At first we were wondering why the warning lights were even flashing as we saw and heard nothing, then we throught we will just go around the barrier because they seemed to be broken....then out of the night sky....like a thief...the train came. The Lord will come...like a thief to those who are not heading the warning and to those who refuse to get off tracks. May this not be so for you my dear friends....heed the warnings....believe the Word and turn from all your sins.
