Just in Time

This is an amazing story also. Last year while witnessing in the street using, "Share Jesus Without Fear" we were able to lead a couple woman to Christ. We did one lesson with them and tradgedy struck. Their neice, a little 3 1/2 year girl, fell out of her apartment window, four stories to her death. Her mother and grandmother are here dressed in black. The girl on the far left is named Mirela, she and her sister Meriana were the ones who repented when we witnessed to them on the street. They invited us into their yard to do a Bible study two days before Christina fell, it was Christina who opened the gate that day. My pastor, David Groves, who is here on the far right had the privlidge of meeting Mirela and Meriana's mother, Anacuta. She is seated to his right. We did not know it at the time but she was extremely ill. Pastor David was able to lead her in a prayer of repentance and She prayed to accept God's forgivness during the week. Only four weeks later she went on to be with the Lord as she had a very severe case of cancer. She had continued doing the lessons through number eight.

This was a great example of how God can and does use a team from America. You can't imagine how happy Mirela and Meriana were to KNOW that their mother went to heaven when she died. Even yesterday, when I spoke with them in the valley they shed tears when I spoke of how much they loved their mother. They were the first two converts that we won in the valley and they are still believers a year and a half later. They will be members of the new Baptist church we hope to start in Zone 6, the Valley. (Teresa Myers, second from the left also from LWBC, had an incredible week.... that changed her life for ever....stay tuned for that blog)
